Speaker: Mike Herbison, Supply Chain Manager

A supply chain manager with no formal CS background rekindles his endless curiosity for computers at 40 — through courses, books, piles of notes and unlimited stubbornness. Mike Herbison takes us through his journey of discovery for personal interest as well as more serious supply chain development at work, including successes and failures along the way.

Mike has been attending CUUG and sparked his long lost passion for computers while he made a career in Oilfield Services Supply Chain. He's had a blast rediscovering Unix/Linux and coding and also loves playing guitar (particularly 80's rock & metal).
