Solar Situations

What should she do? -- It was time to go to Grandpa's and she didn't have a card for him.

She decided to make one herself, but had no paper, so she looked for a substitute.

After finding some suitably thin cardboard, she realized she had nothing to write with either.

So she took a dirty stick and used it like a pencil to write the cardboard card.

Unfortunately, it swiftly became clear that this card was not going to end up looking like she had invested much effort in it, even if she really very much did.

But that didn't matter, because Grandpa would love any card that was made from her.

Or so she thought, but Grandpa snapped -- he lost it -- and laid in with a flurry of rights to the solar plexus.

But no sun at all shone that day on his stomach.
