The Not-So-Evil Man

"Help!" said Roger. "Eeek!" cried Molly. They had been just missed by my electricity. A miss. Just then, I noticed someone sneaking up behind me.

"So, it's you," I said.
"Actually it's Dave," he said, "but I know what you mean. It's so confusing having an enemy named U. By the way, they're gone."
"Who?" I asked. "Oh, da-- um, sorry."

But then Molly fainted and Roger ran away in fear. Dave did not know what to do so he phoned 911 to get an ambulance for Molly.

There were no motorized vehicles available, so the dispatcher sent out a horse-drawn carriage. Needless to say, it was not until six hours later that the emergency care personnel arrived. By then it was too late....

Molly had slipped into a permanent catatonic state -- or nearly permanent -- and Roger, having run off like a sniveling coward, was no help. Dave and I were about to give up, when suddenly, as the paramedics were carrying Molly out the door, down leapt Roger from the roof! He leapt over Dave and jumped on top of me, knocking me down. Instinctively, I let fly a thunder bolt, which knocked everyone down, but knocked Molly back to her senses. "Why, Pikachu," she exclaimed. "Here I thought you were trying to attack us, and in the end, you rescue me! Thank you so much!" And from that day on, I was much more careful about sending off stray bolts of electricity and scaring people.
